Slip on your flip flops, slap on some bug spray and kick back Muskoka style!
Welcome to Gravenhurst, the Gateway to Muskoka and the gateway to making conference memories! We are thrilled to welcome you to our corner of Muskoka and hope that you leave this conference and your time with us feeling inspired, invigorated and invested in the future of heritage in your own community.
Our goal for the conference is to present an itinerary of educational and entertaining sessions that help feed the spark of heritage enthusiasm in each of our delegates. We aim to provide a different flavour of conference and hope that you enjoy the efforts and offerings of our committee. This year's committee consists of passionate, dedicated and slightly 'off beat' heritage lovers, promoters and preservationists. This blend of eclectic souls includes Town of Gravenhurst Councillor & Deputy Mayor Randy Jorgensen, Chair of the Municipal Heritage Committee Michael Wayling, Senior Planner Angela Ghikadis, Community Champion Carole-Ann Simpson and Manager of Economic Development Amy Taylor.
We hope you enjoy this conference and invite you to explore Gravenhurst and Muskoka before or after your sessions to see why we are shameless promoters of our natural beauty, welcoming communities, rich heritage and cultural assets.
