Event description

Description

Careers and education aren't what they used to be. The plethora of post secondary choices are harder than ever to navigate. One thing that hasn't changed are the difficult conversations and discussion between parents and their teens. Marion's interactive presentation helps to guide Parents through these valuable conversations with their children.

  • Learn insightful skills to engage in productive discussions with your teenager from a University career expert
  • Better understand today's labour market and the skills youth need to succeed
  • Access career websites and other resources to explore education and work options
  • Help your teen discover their interests and skills assisting them in exploring career choices

Sign up and join the RDPA, the District Career Programs Department, and other parents as they laugh, learn, and explore what's important to their teens and how to open up a post-secondary discussion. Learn how to access educational and career resources with Marion Haythorne on Tuesday, November 28th from 6pm - 9pm at A.R. MacNeill Secondary School.
