This course includes Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSFC) Basic Life Support (BLS) Renewal.

Health Profession students are eligible to enroll in our PALS Provider course if they are in their final stage of training and have successfully completed the PEARS Provider course.

Basic Life Support Requirements

Current Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider status is required in order to be eligible to receive PALS Provider status from the Heart and Stroke Foundation, upon course completion. The Heart and Stroke Foundation does not recognize CPR certificates from other organizations for the purposes of this prerequisite.

Participants who present a printed copy of their current HSFC BLS card during check-in and who do not wish to renew their BLS during this course will be eligible for a tuition rebate of $25.00. This rebate will not be available after the fact.

Participants who do not complete the BLS Renewal or present a current HSFC BLS card may audit the PALS course but will not be eligible for PALS Provider status from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
