Share Pension plan information sessions

Event Details

On January 1, 2017, your IWA–Forest Industry Pension Plan transitioned from a negotiated cost defined benefit plan to a target benefit plan. Half a year later, we’re happy to tell you that your pension plan is fully funded on a going concern basis.

Want to learn more about target benefit plans and what the recent plan transition means for you? Attend a select information session in Vanderhoof, Mackenzie, Fort St. John or Chetwynd this September. At these sessions, we’ll explain the difference between defined benefit and target benefit plans, go over the general plan rules that we think you should know, and answer any questions that you and other attendees may have.

Please see below for a list of dates, locations and times:

City Date Time Location
Vanderhoof Monday, September 11 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Village Inn Restaurant
Mackenzie Tuesday, September 12 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Alexander Mackenzie Hotel
Fort St. John Wednesday, September 13 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Northern Grand Hotel
Chetwynd Thursday, September 14 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Pomeroy Inn and Suites
