Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.
We are bringing this all new theme to the 1909 Kitchen. The magic of poutine lies in its simplicity – crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds, and velvety gravy – a canvas primed for creative toppings.
We'll start off by making a Breakfast Poutine, topped with your morning favourites. A classic poutine with gluten free gravy is next on our list followed by a Dessert Poutine. Naturally, we'll be using our favourite FRESH cheese curds from Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese! They'll be freshly made the morning of our event.
Our evening culminates as we sit down together to enjoy the dishes that you have prepared together. Weather permitting we can sit on the patio.
The 1909 Culinary Academy is licenced, with a drink list of beer, wine, and cocktails available throughout your event.
Sometimes we have leftovers, so please bring your own reusable containers to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
