About this event

On April 5, 2024, former students, scholars, and friends will gather at The Munk School to share research and conviviality in honour of Professor Robert Bothwell’s more than 50 years of teaching at the University of Toronto. Join us for this full-day event to hear how Prof. Bothwell’s work inspired generations of students.

The day’s sessions include keynote remarks from Professor Margaret MacMillan, along with panels titled: “Alliance, Illusion, and Canadian Peacekeeping,” “The Shape of Pearsonian Peace,” and “Come for the lecture, stay for the learning: Robert Bothwell in the Canadian External Relations classroom.”
