This workshop is designed for Poplar lovers who yearn to know the tree better, to deepen their connection to it, or simply listen to the call to work with the medicine it brings. We propose an introduction to the tree’s most common uses, tips to identify it, harvest it respectfully and process the harvest.

Starting with a forest walk to meet the tree, participants will be guided through a series of meditative exercises to attune to it. We will take a careful, focused look to discover the many gifts this plant has been sharing with humankind, and how we can give in reciprocity, engaging in ways involving all our senses, heart and memory.

Buds harvest, medicinal products sampling and poplar oil making will all be part of this special journey.

Everything is included. All activities will be outdoors.*

*Wheaton River Gardens is an off-grid wilderness farm located at km 22 Annie Lake Road in Mount Lorne.
