Power of Trades is a program designed to help newcomers to Canada access jobs in the skilled trades in Ontario. All services are offered free of charge. This program is offered at no cost to participants.
The program includes :
• Four weeks of in-class training (May 13th - June 7th ).
• First Aid, WHMIS, Working at Heights, Service Excellence and more!
• Resume writing, job search supports, how to navigate the Skilled Trades and Career Path Planning.
• Possible Job Placement Following The training.
Participants must:
· Be a Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee or CUAET
· Be 18 years of age or older
· Be a resident of Ontario
· Have a Canadian Language Benchmark of 4+
