Prison Abolition 101: A Community Conversation
Whether you're new to prison abolition or a seasoned advocate, please join Disability Justice Network of Ontario's Prison Project for a community conversation on prison abolition and what a future without prisons could look like. This event is made possible through funding from Lush and will be hosted at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library on Wednesday, June 12th at 6 PM to 8 PM.
Accessibility: OS&NGUPL is wheelchair accessible but only has binary and children's washrooms. Please mask when you are not eating/drinking. Masks, ASL interpretation, snacks, and child-friendly colouring activities will be available, and there will be an air purifier running.
Please register so we can best accommodate dietary and access needs.
