This learning circle will meet online every Monday evening, March 18 - June 17, 6-7:30 PM.

All Participants will learn together in a peer-supported environment through a learning circle, a lightly facilitated study group guided by staff for people who want to take a free online course together in a welcoming space. Participants are expected to commit to the duration of the course and attend all learning circle sessions. 10 hours of independent course work per week will be required to complete the course on time.

Why should you learn Python?

Python is a versatile programming language used by startups and enterprises such as Google, Facebook, Dropbox and IBM. This is also the language of choices for developers who work in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, networking and IoTs (Internet of Things). This course will help participants learn basic coding in Python, as well as general computer programming techniques and concepts.

The course curriculum aligns with Python Institute's PCAP Certified Associate in Python Programming certification exam. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible for a PCAP exam discount voucher and a letter of completion.
