About this event

Join QueerProv for our weekly pay-what-you-can workshops, and learn the improv games and skills you see at our live improv shows each week! Fun is the goal and no experience is necessary! Every Monday from 5-7PM at the Junction!

Our workshops are queer-positive spaces open to people of all experience levels & identities, and are a safe and welcoming space for 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

Instructors are announced on a week-by-week basis. Follow our Facebook page and Instagram account (@queerprov) for instructor announcements each week.

Workshops are pay-what-you-can (recommended donation: $10) & no one is turned away due to lack of funds!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• FLOW: We take the first 15 minutes to arrive and chat, and we take the last 15 minutes to pack up and socialize.

• RUNTIME: Workshop is about 90 minutes with a break.

• CONTENT: We all try to behave in a safe, inclusive, and considerate manner. Because this is an improv drop-in for all levels, unexpected things can happen. We will do our best to create a safe inclusive space where participants can always express their feelings and boundaries.

• ACCESSIBILITY: Tightrope has an accessible entrance on the street level. Bathroom is not big enough to be considered accessible, and is currently up one step and down one step.

• SENSORY INFO: Our practice room is susceptible to weather changes (warm on warm days, cold on cold days). Dress comfortably.
