ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

addy co-founder Stephen Jagger will deliver a presentation discussing the origins of addy, Canada's largest real estate crowdfunding platform, insights gained from launching 42 properties on the platform, and the options for raising capital through crowdfunding versus offering memorandums in Canada.

Stephen Jagger is an entrepreneur, author and speaker. He started his entrepreneurial journey in 2000 when he and long time business partner Mike Stephenson setup Combustion Hosting (acquired ’06), followed by Ubertor Realtor Software (acquired ’13). In 2012 they headed to the Philippines and set up OutsourcingThingsDone.com to provide virtual assistants to real estate professionals, growing to 150 employees. They answered other needs in the industry by setting up a company called PayrollHero, focused on time, attendance, scheduling, HR and payroll.

After living in Manila and Singapore for 4 years with his wife and children, Stephen returned back to Vancouver to launch addy to eradicate barriers to property ownership for everyone. Stephen is the co-President of the Vancouver College Alumni Association and sits as a Director of The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation.

Trent completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2001 with emphasis on Marketing and International Business.
