Release & Rise: Emotional Empowerment Journey


This is a space to explore and release emotions through yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation and sound. You will be guided to rise to meet your inner world with acceptance, love and connection for personal empowerment.


Our intention for this workshop is to create a space for you safely explore emotions such anger, sadness, and joy from a place of empowerment. We will first open the container by sharing and witnessing each other in the opening circle and then move into an intuitive yoga and movement flow to move and release energy and come home to the body and the breath. You will be guided through a powerful meditation to explore a chosen emotion from an embodied and empathic lens followed by a gentle breathwork journey to integrate. The evening will close with a fusion of relaxation meditation, a nourishing sound bath and optional body and energy work to call in a deep sense of peace and acceptance.

Your Guides:

Gina is a Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach specializing in embodied intimacy through a Tantric lens. Also a certified Meditation Teacher, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Practitioner and Sound Guide, Gina leads individuals and groups through mindful, relaxing and deep healing experiences fusing sound healing and energy work. Her professional background also includes 12 years as a therapist working in mental health and trauma recovery. Her passion is to co-create a transformative healing experience that connects the body’s wisdom and opens the heart.

Jessica is a yoga, meditation, pilates and barre instructor dedicated to living, learning and sharing the transformational powers of mindful movement, stillness and breath. A 500 Hour RYT graduate of the Yogaspace, Toronto, Teacher Training Program, Jessica has been practicing yoga since 2008. Creating an atmosphere of compassion, curiosity, inspiration and play, she invites students to explore the practice with self-inquiry, so that they feel confident and comfortable in their own bodies. She believes the movement practice is a means to coming into a deeper understanding of self, which sparks higher fulfillment in all aspects of life.
