This is a workshop about stress and anxiety and learning valuable skills to manage it.
If you struggle with losing track of relationships, work, things you want to get done, if your body doesn't feel 'right' and your mind is a complete wreck, oh man, I've been there.
Personal experience enables me to offer this workshop. Growing up with anxiety was difficult, I spent a lot of time suffering from it and with hard work have overcome some of its most debilitating characteristics. Today, I have a lot to share with what I've learned along the way as a Yoga Teacher and student of different schools.
The aim is to create a space in which we can share openly about this topic and bring it into the light. I have been fortunate enough to learn the basics of psychology, mindfulness, yoga, and have had fantastic teachers like Dr. Bali. It is only from the space of personal experience that I offer you my discoveries and paths to success.
We will cover both eastern and western approaches to treating anxiety and stress with the goal in mind to get a taste of what real relaxation is all about and how we can have it at any time during any challenge we may face in the coming future.
The day will look something like this, though the schedule and subject matter is subject to change:
7:30 a.m. - Arrival
8:00 a.m. - Mindfulness Meditation
8:30 a.m. - Introduction to stress response theory of the body
9:00 a.m. - Dr. Bali inspired Yoga practice
11:00 a.m. - Pranayama
12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. - Lunch
1:00 p.m. - Light cover of psychology models of anxiety and theory of CBT treatment with a self-exercise to practice.
2:00 p.m. - Group discussion
3:00 p.m. - Yogic/Buddhist approaches to quenching anxiety
3:30 p.m. - Mindfulness meditation
4:30 p.m. - Final thoughts and tangible exercises to take home.
All attendees will be given the opportunity to participate in an 8-week course for continuing education on stress management and anxiety relief after the workshop.

Price is 85$ for the day, early bird prices (limit of 10) are for 75$!. You will receive a package of exercises and information on all topics covered during the workshop you can take home.
