RIC Centre is hosting a Lunch & Learn workshop on Distribution and Channel Development.
In the workshop, we will discuss the importance of a strategy, and understanding the competitive landscape by integrating brand strategy, pricing and distribution. Learn how to select the right distribution channel, navigate certain channel components, develop a costing strategy and define a brand strategy. The workshop will also provide practical tools and great advice in helping establish your business’ distribution channels.

A serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of global experience in sales, marketing, sourcing and large-chain distribution, Ty is the owner of TT Sales & Marketing LLC, an agency that services the retail markets in both Canada and the United States. Ty’s direct experience includes working with large sales corporations in North America and manufacturers and suppliers from off-shore locations like China, India, Taiwan and Mexico, Ty’s well versed in the areas sales strategies, product and distribution planning, program design and implementation as well as strategies for pricing, productizing, marketing and resource allocation to insure a win/win. His current customer list includes companies like Canadian Tire, Costco, Wal-Mart, Target and Home Hardware where he assists in product supply chain planning and delivery. Ty is also co-owner of 2 additional businesses based in Canada servicing commercial markets with industrial products and OEM replica products for the automotive industry.
Please note: The Lunch&Learn series are free for incubator tenants and graduates (because of the RIC Incubator Program fee structure). The event has a minimal $10 fee for all other clients to cover the lunch component of the workshop.
