About this event

Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.

Our theme is Fresh Ricotta Cheese, and you guessed it, we'll be making a fresh batch to use in the following dishes:

Roasted tomato & Ricotta Crostini are a simple but delicious appetizer.

White Seafood Lasagna pairs a luscious mornay sauce with shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat in a comforting lasagna with layers of homemade ricotta cheese.

Ricotta stuffed portobellos are a fantastic alternative to expensive meat dishes. We'll stuff our mushrooms with ricotta, tomato, basil pesto, and more.

At the end of class, we'll sit down to enjoy the dishes you've made together.

The 1909 Culinary Academy is licenced. We have a drink menu of beer, wine, and assorted cocktails for you to enjoy throughout the event.

Sometimes we have leftovers. Please bring your own reusable containers to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
