Made for Glory

It has been said that "the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever."* While this is certainly true of our eternal destiny, God has invited us to make much of Him here and now.

As those called to lead RockPointers in living lives of worship, there is a clear connection between our understanding of our role in bringing God glory and our ability to model attitudes and actions that reveal our obsession with Jesus. At the retreat, we will interactively explore what it means to glorify God, how we are inherently designed to glorify him, hindrances to doing so, implications for our daily lives, and how all of these things reveal crucial clues with regard to what Jesus has in store for us and for RockPointe this year.

Come and join staff and volunteers from RockPointe's worship, tech, drama, production and intercession teams at Southern Alberta Bible Camp. Over three days we will learn about worship, have a lot of fun, and get to know each other more as we grow as a worship community.

The Fort at Southern Alberta Bible Camp is situated on the shores of beautiful Travers Reservoir two hours SE of Calgary.

Your $75 registration includes bunk house accommodation, all meals, and activities.

Schedule:

Friday, September 29 - Gather at the Fort at 8:00 pm
Sunday, October 1 - Clean up and head home at 12:30 pm

Things to Bring:

Lots of snacks (meals are provided but bring your favorite snacks and drinks to add to the 24hr snack food buffet)
Bible
Instrument (optional - if you have one that is unplugged)
Bedding or sleeping bag
Pillow
Towel and Toiletries
