VANESSA PANTON

Vanessa is a local Vancouverite with a love of the roam, and who’s traveling heart has helped to feed the wonderings of both her mind and spirit. Coming from an acting background, she has only in the past 2 years begun to perform her hybrid mix of spoken word poetry and song, and is ever grateful for the opportunity to share in this way. With a mix of humuor and deeply vulnerable human insights, her unique expression serves to gently remind us about the great adventure and fallibilities of life, as gleamed through her personal experience…which is hardly ever particularly glamorous. lol Vanessa also hosts a house concert series, entitled The Living Room Series, and is always humbled to be a part of such a rich Vancouver community of artists, and is excited to be included in this creative ensemble.

DREW TEMPLE

For Drew Temple, dance has been the most powerful ally in understanding herself. Raised in the countryside north of Toronto, a life of artistry was always her dream. Her movement storytelling and ritual performance are a culmination of her life’s journey and she draws inspiration from everything around her; from the daily mundane to the great existential questioning of existence itself and what it means to be human. Dance is her conversation with spirit, her prayer to heal and her heart’s deepest offering. Drew currently resides in Vancouver, BC where she teaches her dance class: Journey to the Temple. Through her storytelling; she hopes to inspire others to share whatever is alive and beating inside their hearts. For this world needs it.

DAUGHTER OF THE MOON

Daughter of the Moon is a dream/folk songstress who moves around the world with her guitar, turning her experiences into songs. Her live performance of voice & dreamy guitar have been described as haunting, yet healing and her songs, sweet and melancholic. Her newly release and very first album (self-titled) is now available on Itunes, Spotify & Bandcamp.

VVOLVES

V V O L V E S is a Canadian electronic indie rock duo formed in 2017 by members Austin Scarfe (the canvas) and Tosia Scarfe (the paint). The Vancouver based duo draws inspiration from the changing social and political tides of our time, the beauty of our earth, and the empowerment of individuality.
V V O L V E S interweaves acoustic instrumentation with electronic soundscapes, energetic beats and powerhouse vocals to create a sound that is both totally unique and yet strangely familiar...
