ARTISTS PERFORMING....

NASTI WEATHER: 8.30-9pm

Ana Schlechleitner AKA Nasti Weather is a remarkably gifted singer- songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She makes transformative music straight from the soul. Her lyrics are drenched in authenticity, poetry, and sentiment. She strums the banjo into oblivion while beautifully belting heartfelt wax poetic words. Her haunting and powerful voice is, however, the vintage vehicle driving her music. She sounds like Janis Joplin, Etta James and Lucinda Williams had some elegant, rock and roll, trailer park love child. Nasti Weather shimmers through in the modern sea of autotune and Appleton. As Erykah Badu would put it “she is an analog girl in the digital world”. It appears as if her banjo is an extension of her body when she performs, it’s an elongation of her spirit. Ana lives and performs frequently in the ever insisting East Vancouver. She is now working on releasing her highly anticipated full-length album after a provincial tour.

RUMOUR MILL: 9.15-9.45pm

Rumour Mill is an up-and-coming Indie band based in Vancouver, BC, headed by best buds Aline Daigle and Anna Katarina. These Kootenay girls go way back to preschool, graduating high school and college together. Recently they made the move to the beautiful West Coast where they are recording their first EP. Their music is a cocktail of ever-evolving pop, folk and country, with a splash of RnB, similar to the sounds of Fleetwood Mac, Haim and First Aid Kit. T“Daylight’s Free” will be released Spring 2019. With catchy melodies, soulful harmonies and skilled songwriting, Rumour Mill will sweep you off your feet with its unique indie-pop sound!

EMILY MOLLOY: 10-10.30pm

Emily is a prolific rock and roll blues musician with a whole lot of soul. Her music fuses gritty rock and roll, blues and grunge and soul to bring you a raw and powerful sound. Soulful, heart-drenched rock and roll that will be sure to give you the chills, this show is not one to be missed. Her collaborations include Old.Soul.Rebel, Will Ross, Joshua Wood, and Gnarfunkel among others and has been known to be found in the back rooms jamming with the likes of Jim Cuddy and Sam Roberts. She has performed at the Canadian Music Week in Toronto, Rockin' River Fest, Pemberton Music Festival, New Leaf Music Festival, Blessed Coast and Invermere Music Festival among others. She was the winner of the 2015 Whistler Music Search.
