About this event
These webinars are designed to overview almost everything a high school student needs to know about the apprenticeship pathway. Each session will be led by Candace Carson, a School-to-Work transition specialist, who supports youth in navigating the period between high school and employment. As a result of her experience as an Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator and Pathways Consultant for one of Ontario's largest school boards, Candace is able to provide youth considering apprenticeship a clear and individualized learner pathway to employment.
Candace has developed a significant understanding of the processes and requirements from both the government and employer perspectives, which helps provide youth with clarity and confidence as they step forward into the future.
There will be handouts to support the learning from each session. You are welcome to attend one, two or all 3 sessions!
