Experience an evening of music and art at Glenbow!

As a complement to the Sybil Andrews: Art & Life exhibition, three Canadian composers, Alan Bell, Alexina Louie and Jocelyn Morlock, were commissioned to add a musical element to Sybil Andrews' legacy by creating new compositions inspired by themes that the celebrated British-Canadian printmaker explored in her artwork.

At this intimate Salon Series evening, Land's End Ensemble (John Lowry, violin; Beth Root Sandvoss, cello; and Akiko Tominaga, piano) will perform these new short musical works in the gallery. Learn about the process behind the music's creation while taking in the art that inspired it.
