Frequently asked questions

How does halotherapy work?

During halotherapy, guests inhale microscopic salt particles, which are believed to have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. This can help cleanse the respiratory system and skin, promoting a sense of well-being.

Is salt therapy safe for everyone?

Generally, salt therapy is considered safe for most individuals. However, individuals with certain respiratory conditions or other health concerns should consult with a healthcare professional before trying halotherapy.

What should I wear to a salt cave session?

Wear comfortable clothing. It's common to go barefoot in the salt cave, but slippers will also be provided.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are immersed in sound vibrations created by various instruments like singing bowls, gongs, drums, and other harmonious tools. It aims to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.

How do sound baths promote relaxation?

The vibrations from sound instruments are thought to induce a state of deep relaxation by affecting the nervous system. Participants often report reduced stress, improved focus, and a sense of inner calm after a sound bath.

Are sound baths safe to attend if you're pregnant?

Pregnant women should consult their doctor before a sound bath. Avoid gongs in the first 120 days. Crystal bowls provide a gentle, anxiety-releasing experience for mothers, fostering a connection with the baby. Prioritize safety by consulting a healthcare professional.

Can I attend a sound bath if I have a hearing aid?

People with hearing aids tend to have a difficult time in sound baths. The best practice is to advise them to turn the hearing aids off or take them out. It can otherwise make a squeaky sound that is uncomfortable for them and unpleasant for other in-person guests.

Can I attend a sound bath if I have metal implants?

Some have noted discomfort or pain if they have metal pins or stainless steel ball joints. Ask before sounding the bowl.
