Description

SASC Ottawa Presents The Vagina Monologues

VDay is about bringing folks together who are committed to ending violence against women. The Vagina Monologues is a play made up of a series of monologues meant to be performed by women and non-binary folks. The play was originally launched in 1996 and is written by Eve Ensler—playwright, performer and activist. The play is a collection of 17 monologues that are the result of real interviews with over 200 women about their views on sex, relationships and violence against women.

The Vagina Monologues have been performed all over the world. Women and non-binary people of every race, class, religion, ability, gender identity, ethnicity, citizenship and family status have performed in plays.

All proceeds from the play will go towards frontline services provided by the Sexual Assault Support Centre, registered charity & non-profit organization. Tickets will be available at the door for $30.00

For more information about becoming involved as a cast member, volunteer or event sponsor please contact Shaheen Lotun partnerships@sascottawa.com (613) 252-8435.

Please contact Shaheen Lotun at partnerships@sascottaw.com for any questions, or call (613) 252-8435.

What are 'Pay It Forward' tickets?

Is The Bronson Centre Music Theatre accessible?

Yes! There is an accessible entry to the building, to Mac Hall & the theatre.

I've got more questions!
