BIO – CAJJMERE WRAY (Toronto)

CAJJMERE WRAY World renowned DJ & Producer Cajjmere Wray (aka: CCW) has been a staple in the house music/club scene globally over the past 10 years. On the decks he stirs a mix of big room house, progressive, circuit and mainstream elec-tribal with a blend of vocals. Continuing to bring a unique sound and flavor to every club atmosphere is why Cajjmere Wray has become a must-hear DJ. Cajjmere’s music productions hit the music charts initially when he connected with legendary DJ/Producer Peter Rauhofer in 2005. His various productions on the Star 69 imprint (including his remix of Kobbe & Leeds ‘Bodyshaker’) earned him high praise not only by Rauhofer himself, but also by many DJ’s who then began to support his various works.

Currently in the studio he’s had the pleasure of officially remixing many of the world’s greatest talents including: Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Girlicious, Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, Jennifer Hudson, Deborah Cox and Oscar G to name only a few. His amazing repertoire of private works includes hits by: Kylie Minogue, Adele, Gotye, Britney Spears and countless others. Cajjmere Wray’s latest official remix of the new single by Offer Nissim feat. Maya “Everbody Needs A Man”, and his tag-team production with DJ Alexander on the circuit classic “My Imagination” by CeeVox, are both storming dance floors all over the world. Along with DJ’ing, his widely supported productions are a major stem in the history of his notable style and sound. In the spring of 2007 Cajjmere was given the opportunity to reach out to an even broader market through the medium of radio broadcasting. His nightly talk/dance program on a Toronto terrestrial station ran weeknights for 3 very successful years before he decided to move in a different direction. Then in the late summer of 2009 Cajjmere Wray hit the Canadian Top 40 singles chart with his house production of the hit single “Over It (cry baby)” for Canadian urban artist ‘Addictiv’. The single reached the top 10 status for nearly 6 months and received huge support from both radio and video stations coast to coast.

Moving into 2012 Cajjmere dabbled in the progressive house world along with the likes of Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta and Avicii, which made Cajjmere an even bigger talent to be reckoned with. His original singles “IN THE NIGHT” and “I LOVE MIAMI” received massive support from DJ’s and house music lovers, most notably during the Winter Music Conference in Miami Florida. His 2013 single “TRIBAL KǕNT” placed Cajjmere back into the realms of tribal bliss, thus pleasing the many tribal & circuit fans worldwide once again.
In the summer of 2014, Cajjmere not only stole the show during Toronto World Pride with his closing set of the weekend, but he also debuted at the world’s first LGBT festival (1Life Fest) in Los Angeles California. He shared the stage with many of his colleagues including Chus & Ceballos, Oscar G, Tom Stephan, Robbie Rivera, and many others.

With 18 years and counting now behind him in the business, Cajjmere Wray has had the opportunity to spin around the world in various cities including: New York (NY), Los Angeles (CA), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Mexico City (MX), Milan (Italy), Serbia (Belgrade), and more.
