Join an evening Bird tour led by Stan Shadick that will visit Saskatoon's President Murray Park. Enjoy listening to the songs and sounds of Saskatoon birds. Observe their colours and behaviours.
Novice bird watchers are especially welcome.
Stan will point out the field marks used to identify each species seen or heard.
During summer months over 100 Saskatoon bird species are regularly found in our parks. Some birds of interest include: Downy Woodpecker, Eastern Kingbird, Western Wood Pewee, Warbling Vireo, Black-billed Magpie, House Wren, Clay-colored, Vesper, Chipping Sparrow, Yellow Warbler and other warblers.
A loaner pair of binoculars will be available to the first registrant who requests it by email to birdtours@sasktel.net .
Fee covers leadership only during this guided bird walk.
Meals, accommodation and transportation expenses are not included in the tour fee.
