Winnipeg International Burlesque Festival's Saturday Night Showcase
The Winnipeg International Burlesque Festival is a dynamic extravaganza that brings together performers, enthusiasts, and industry professionals from Winnipeg and around the globe. There are showcase on Friday and Saturday, both with completely different performances.
Our festival not only showcases the incredible talent of local artists but also provides a platform for national and international acts to dazzle audiences with their creativity and skill. By featuring a diverse lineup of performances and workshops, we aim to celebrate the rich tapestry of burlesque while fostering cross-cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.
Meet the Headliners :
Kitty Kin-Evil (Ottawa) a Métis Indigenous burlesque performer and headmistress of the Ottawa Burlesque Academy. Kitty will lead workshops at WIBF, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for emerging talent.
Tymisha Harris (Orlando) aka “Tush” star of Josephine, the play will be showcases her very own performing talents. Her other credits include assistant choreographer and backup dancing for the 90’s pop group N*SYNC, a backup dancer for LFO, multiple roles at Universal Studios Orlando, and a featured role in the hit movie series Bring It On.
Arabella Boop (Vancouver), winner of the 2023 Queen of the Roses. Like Venus emerging from a hotdog bun, this juicy ginger is a mouth-watering delicacy, and she is sure to satisfy your hunger. She is power and pleasure. She is seduction and satiation. She is joy and juiciness.
