Classes will cover all the need to know topics of labour, birth, and early parenting, leaving you feeling confident and prepared. The classes cover a wide range of topics to help you and your partner to feel confident, relaxed and excited to welcome your newest family member.
Our Prenatal in a Day classes cover the following material:
- Body changes in late pregnancy
- When to go to the hospital/ or call Midwife for home birth
- Understanding the birth process
- Breathing, positioning, pelvic mobility and comfort measures
- Role of your support person
- Medical interventions, pain relief and procedures
- Breastfeeding, what to expect the early days, challenges, techniques, positions, milk production, & much more.(Offered by a trained Lactation Consultant)
- What to expect bringing baby home and in the early days of parenting
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of a class or workshop must be made no longer than two weeks prior to class, however we do understand that with babies and pregnancy there are often unexpected surprises, so each cancellation will be considered on a case by case basis.
