Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

In 1997, CSIF acquired a library of over 2500 16mm films from the Calgary Public Library including cult classics, animations, shorts and documentaries. Once every month, a local Calgary curator is asked to choose a film from the collection to screen!

The screenings are held in CSIF's screening room @ #100, 1725 - 10 Avenue SW. The only catch is that for copyright reasons we can't disclose the name of the film until you see it... come out and get in on the secret!

Admission is by donation, but you can pre-book your spot via Eventbrite. Tickets will be available at the door as well!

Thursday September 21, 8pm | curated by Marda Loop Justice Film Festival's Shanika Abeysinghe (Doors open @ 7:30PM)

Marda Loop Justice Film Festival is one of Canada's premiere events, focusing on human rights, environmentally and socially concerned film and art.
Thanks to Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Calgary Arts Development, Canada Council for the Arts, and Big Rock Brewery!
