- Eligibility criteria (eligible status : Permanent Resident, Confirmed Refugee, CUAET)
- Registration process
- Program structure : 10-week full-time program at the Robert Lee YMCA downtown Vancouver
- Program curriculum : specifically designed to develop your business plan - from an idea to launching your business in Canada
The Self-Employment for Newcomers (SEN) Program (FREE for those eligible) is designed to help you learn Canadian Business Skills, Digital Literacy and improve your Business English skills. Through practical workshops, expert guest speakers and one-on-one private consultations with business advisors, you will gain confidence and knowledge to become an entrepreneur in Canada!
Details: Info sessions are open to newcomers and immigrants, the SEN program is only open to PR, confirmed refugees, and CUAET. The info-session will be conducted in English, supports will be available in French, Spanish, Farsi and Ukrainian.
