Join us for our Share the Earth Day Camp! We will spend every day (9am-3pm) outdoors, exploring the signs of spring in the wetland, forest and farmland at A Rocha's Brooksdale Environmental Centre. Enjoy hands-on activities and discover life in our ecosystems!

Bring your own snacks (both morning and afternoon), lunch and water bottle. Come dressed for activities in the outdoors, rain or shine. Wear a hat, and bring an extra layer andwaterproof outer jackets for wet days. Boots required for rain! Bring an extra set of clothes, just in case. (*please no umbrellas--we need our hands)

Frequently asked questions

What does my child need to bring with them to the program?

Our programs are based entirely outside, so we recommend weather and activity-appropriate clothing, 2 snacks, lunch and water for each day! Example: Cold weather: warm layers, boots, hat, gloves, waterproof gear. NO UMBRELLAS, please. Warm weather: hat, sunscreen, an extra light layer, NO FLIP FLOPS

What kind of activities will my child get to participate during the program?

Program participants will get to experience hands-on activities in the outdoors, including exploration of our forest, wetland, sustainable gardens, and river. We also love to integrate crafts, games, skits, and music into every day to maximize fun and learning!
