About this event

  • 4 days 7 hours

Skills Ontario Summer Camp is a week-long day program for kids entering grades 7-9. The program runs in various locations across the province during the months of July and August, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Campers take part in hands-on counselor and industry-led workshops that introduce them to a variety of topics in the industrial, construction, motive power, services and technology sectors; they explore careers in skilled trades through interactive games, industry tours and entrepreneurship program.

Sheridan camp is offering three weeks of sessions, the schedule remains unchanged throughout all three weeks. This means that the activities will be the same across all sessions. While we understand the desire for extended participation, registering your child for multiple weeks may lead to a sense of repetition and boredom as they engage in the same activities week after week. We want to ensure that each child has a dynamic and engaging experience, and registering for multiple weeks under the current structure may not provide the variety and stimulation they need to fully benefit from the camp.

At Skills Ontario we are committed to providing a barrier-free environment which allows everyone to participate in our programs and competitions. During our consent form, we will ask about any accommodation required.

* Cancellations received up to 22 days prior to the start of camp will be subject to a $40 administration fee, while cancellations requested within 21 days or less are non-refundable.
