Shoko Inoue - Piano Concert

This program includes two sonatas by Nikolai Medtner, rarely performed live, Chopin’s late Nocturnes, Beethoven’s Bagatelle op.33, and Franck’s less known piece, Prelude, Fugue and Variation.

Shoko Inoue seeks to uncover each composer’s deep, inner prayers, where she finds philosophical meditations, confessions, celebrations, and mystical transformations to share with the audience.
