Experience the sights and songs of birdlife during springtime on the prairies.

Join us for a 3-hour leisurely driving tour along back roads near Saskatoon, Canada to look for signs of spring in the form of newly arriving birds returning to nest in our region. Great for a family outing. During this signs of spring tour, your leader will identify the birds and discuss their fascinating natural history.

Great Mother's Day gift, Birthday gift, Anniversary gift or Retirement gift.

Both novice and experienced bird watchers are welcome. A loaner pair of binoculars may be available if requested. The leader will bring a spotting scope to allow you to view the birds under high magnification.

This tour is ideal for low-mobility clients because they may remain in their vehicle during this driving tour.

Some of the special birds we hope to find include:

Tundra Swan, ducks, grebes, Mourning Dove, Sandhill Crane, American Avocet, Willet, Swainson's Hawk, Loggerhead Shrike, Tree Swallow, Mountain Bluebird, Savannah Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Yellow-headed Blackbird, Western Meadowlark.
