About this event

In this hands-on class at Saskatoon Makerspace, students will learn the basics of silkscreen printing and create their own custom designed t-shirts. The class will cover topics such as selecting and preparing artwork, preparing screens, and printing techniques. Participants will learn how to transfer designs onto screens, mix and apply ink, and operate a manual printing press. Through hands-on practice and guided instruction, students will print their own custom-designed t-shirts to take home. All materials and tools will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own t-shirts to print on. This class is suitable for beginners with little to no experience in silkscreen printing. By the end of the class, students will have a foundational understanding of silkscreen printing techniques and will have created their own unique t-shirt.

* Participants must me be 14 years of age or older, ages 14 - 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. *
