This is a short course aimed at introducing students to the world of Game Audio. Students will be introduced to key concepts and workflows of the Game Audio world. Through hands-on learning and access to current tools students will get an understanding of how game audio pipelines work as well as a bit of experience using the tools used in game audio.

Time: Saturdays & Sundays, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. PST (12-1pm Break)
Cost: $500
Learning Outcomes – Participants will:
- Understand the key concepts of Game Audio and how they differ from other audio industries
- Understand the workflow and basic piplines of the Game Audio world
- Understand the basics of audio implementation
- A very basic understanding of middleware tools (software) used in Game Audio
- A very basic understanding of a game engine and how Game Audio works within the context of the engine
Requirements:
- For this program students will require an IELTS Band 6.0 - (see appendix VFS Language Requirements).
Prerequisites:
Students are not required to have any previous training or experience.
