Sparkle Friends Peer Support Group

Sparkle Friends was dreamed up by an individual who experiences developmental disabilities and was looking for a space other 2SLGTBQIA+ folks who have similar experiences to build community with. Sparkle Friends aims to respond to the lack of spaces dedicated to 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals who experience developmental and intellectual disabilities 18 years +.

Join us for an evening of connection and support at the Sparkle Friends Peer Support Group! Allies are welcome, but it is important to understand the purpose of this space. While learning with us is welcome, transphobia and/or queerphobia will not be tolerated.

Our meetings take place every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM at 333 King Street East in Hamilton, Ontario. We'll be meeting in the community room on the ground floor.
