Event description
Join us for our first ever digital story-telling evening to learn more about advocating for animals!

About this Event

Join us for our SPEAK UP! for Animals fundraiser, an evening of entertainment and learning as we hear stories from BC based advocates on their journeys through animal protection, animal advocacy and awareness raising.

Our guest speakers include Amanada Nahanee, a First Nations ambassador, storyteller and history educator; animal lover and CTV News Vancouver weather anchor Ann Luu; James Slade, a Squamish local, who works as a ranger involved in anti-poaching around the world; Katherine Ramdeen, best known for her role as Alex Jones in Supernatural, shares her journey to veganism; and a live freestyle performance from Afro Van Connect, an organization that empowers the voices of African decent youth through conversation, collaboration, creation and performance.

Tickets cost $15 and this special virtual event will benefit our work to continue speaking up for animals.

The event starts at 7pm. There will also be a Q&A with our guest speakers on the night. A link to the event will be available 30 days prior to the event.

This event is kindly supported by television sponsor CTV.

We will be running a silent auction throughout the week commencing October 19th – 25th with over 40 items to bid on, generously donated by plant-based businesses!
