Capital Rainbow Refuge's series of spring workshops breaking down the LGBTQI+ sponsorship process. If you are part of a sponsorship group or are interested in joining or forming one: we require that you take at least 3 out of 4 of the workshops.
If you're not a part of a sponsorship group, but are interested in volunteering with Capital Rainbow Refuge, this is a great way to learn about the organization, meet members, staff and other volunteers!
Workshop dates are as follows:
- Workshop One (Hybrid): Supporting LGBTQI+ Refugees (April 9th)
- Workshop Two: Sponsorship (April 15th)
- Workshop Three: Foundational Principles (April 22nd)
- Workshop Four: Managing Expectations & Trauma Informed Settlement (April 29th)
