Spring Fling - Into the Bin
We invite you to bring your large 90 L or 15 lb bags of non-hazardous household junk to a friendly, easy to access dumpster parked at 1557 Granada Crescent.
We are selling only 170 tickets at $15 per large bag (plus a $1.29 Eventbrite processing fee). Bulky, heavy, and awkward items are welcome. Please estimate the weight, as each ticket allows for 15 lbs.
We cannot take any construction or hazardous waste, including drywall, asbestos, and paint. If you have any questions about your items, please email Gherkinscare@telus.net before buying tickets to ensure we can take your junk.
We are the Gordon Head Refugee Sponsorship Community Group (AKA, the Gherkins) and this is a fundraiser event to help support the re-unification of a family group of 5. Cash donations will be gratefully accepted at the drop-off site or can be made online at our Go Fund Me page. The Gherkins would like to acknowledge the assistance and financial contribution of the Victoria franchise owners of Bin There Dump That.
Drop offs can be made between 11:00 and 2:30 on May 24, 25, and 26.
