St. John's is so excited to be offering four weeks of (full- day) Kids Camp this summer! Our Summer Camp is free of charge and open to all children ages 4-12. The month of camp will be split into two sessions each of which will consist of 1 week of VBS (Vacation Bible School) followed by 1 week of Leadership Camp. Session 1 will be held from 9am-3pm on July 2nd-12th (excluding Saturday and Sunday) and Session 2 will be held from 9am-3pm on July 15th-26th (excluding Saturday and Sunday). Children are required to bring their own nut-free lunch- snacks will be provided.
Please note that St. John's Summer Camp 2024 is split into two 2-week sessions (July 2-12 and 15-26), so when you register for one of the sessions, you are registering for both of the weeks of that session (for a week each of VBS and Leadership Camp).
This year during VBS Camp Week, we will dive deep into friendship with God to discover the amazing truth that Jesus rescues. By exploring the boundless wonder that is the love of God, the children will discover that the love and protection of the Lord is with them forever and Jesus is always there to rescue them. Then during Leadership Camp Week, the children will learn how to be leaders at home and out in the world by exploring and practicing different leadership skills - daily activities include science, Bible, art, baking and so much more!
There will be support care workers available to work one on one with children who have special needs (Please give at least 2 weeks notice for this additional support and specific details so that we can provide your child with the a well-suited support person).
Before and after care is available upon request. Before care begins at 7:30am and after care is available until 5:00pm. Before care or after care is $20 per Camp session and both before and after care is $25 per Camp session. The costs will go towards additional resources and support for the children.
