St. Paul's Discover Life - Blue Christmas Service 2020
Event Information
About this Event
We invite you to spend an evening with us in quiet reflection, acknowledging our complex feelings and emotions from the past year; engaging with grief and loss during a season of hope and anticipation.
Safety Measures In Place
All visitors to 450 Park Ave must register in advance so that the number of people in the building can be regulated. Register right here on EventBrite to reserve your spot! A team of volunteer greeters will be on site to help everyone get accustomed to our new ways of being together. They want to welcome you and to ensure your safety while you visit. They will pass along important directions and instructions for you to follow while in the building to help ensure your safety. If you do not have internet access you may call the office at 519-436-0255 to reserve a ticket.
Masks must be worn while inside the building and please maintain your physical distance from everyone who is not from within your social bubble. New signage and instructions have been installed throughout the building. Please read these notices and stay informed to keep yourself and our community safe.
Additionally, some visual cues have been added inside and outside of the building to aid you in maintaining your physical distance from others.
Entrances
Only the Office entrance and Canopy Door entrances will be open during our first phase of opening to live worship experiences.
Greetings, Washrooms, and Worshipping Together
We are used to seeing friendly smiles when we come together, but because we will all be wearing masks our smiles will be hidden! In recognition of this we encourage friendly waves and hearty hellos along with other greetings between you and the people around you. We encourage all forms of contactless greeting, but ask that physical distancing measures be maintained. To help with this we are encouraging everyone to use the restroom before you leave your home, and to go directly to your seat once you have arrived. Volunteer greeters will guide you and provide directions and instructions so you know how to proceed.
Dismissal
At the close of the worship experience please listen for instructions from a member of the welcome team. They will guide our safe departure until we meet again.
If you feel sick.
If you feel ill, or have been in contact with someone who has a fever or cough. Or if you have been outside of the country we ask that you stay home and access our online worship experience.
If you become ill for any reason while attending we encourage you to go home immediately if you are able and reach out to Chatham Kent Public Health and the Church office.
If you become ill after a service please contact CK Public Health and the Church office.
Thank you for participating in and observing these measures along with us to ensure we can continue meeting in person safely during this pandemic.
