Event is open to high school students, with valid Student ID
$25 gets you in the door for movies, free arcade games, and unlimited popcorn and drinks.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This event is open to high school students and you must show valid student ID along with an event ticket to gain entrance.
What is included in the $25 ticket price?
Ticket holders will have access to six films throughout the evening, in addition to unlimited fountain pop, water, popcorn and arcade games. Packaged goods such as candy bars, confectionery items, bottled juices etc. will not be available for purchase.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is available at the theatre. Parking is at your own risk. Galaxy Cinemas and United Way cannot accept any responsibility for theft or damage as a result of parking at the event.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
- No alcohol and/or illegal substances permitted.
- No outside beverages or snacks will be permitted. Participants may bring in healthy snacks.
- No weapons permitted
- This is a non-smoking event
- Bags and/or coats will be searched upon entering the event. Items such as pillows and blankets are not permitted.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. Your printed ticket, along with valid student ID is required for entry.
What is the refund policy?
There is no refund on tickets.
Can I go in and out of the event?
Doors open at 11:45 p.m. No entry will be permitted to the event after 12:30 a.m.
Anyone displaying evidence of alcohol and/or illegal substance use upon arrival will not be permitted entry to the event. Any cigarettes and lighters will be confiscated before entering the theatres.
This is a "locked-in" event. Should a participant under the age of 18 wish to leave the event for any reason, a security team member will call home and speak with a parent/guardian. A parent must physically come to the theatre to pick-up and sign-out the participant. If we are not able to reach a parent/guardian and/or they are not available to come to the theatre, the participant is required to stay until 7:00 a.m. Participants over the age of 18 can leave at any time, but will NOT be allowed re-entry. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
What safety precautions are in place?
Safety and security are the main concerns during this event for all involved. There will be a team of over 20 adult event volunteers, as well as a minimum of two uniformed police officers and volunteers from St. John Ambulance.
If at any time during the event you feel unsafe because of a situation or person(s), do not hesitate to alert a security volunteer no matter what the situation or who the person(s) involved is. We will do everything we can to ensure you have a positive experience at this event.
