Statistical Principles for Health Research

Date and Time: April 17th, 2019, 12-1 p.m.

This highly anticipated session will give a broad overview of basic statistical principles in quantitative health research. Steve will cover topics including why you should be careful when choosing a statistical test, types of data, and interpreting p-values and Confidence Intervals. Steve currently acts as the Senior Biostatistician within the Research Methods Unit (RMU) at the Nova Scotia Health Authority and as a statistical consultant for various research groups across Canada.
