About the Event:

Our goal is to provide a safe space for participants to pause, reflect, and meet themselves where they are. I would like participants to walk away from the workshop feeling grounded and empowered, having learned to practice radical acceptance and self-love.

Join us for an evening of rest and rejuvenation. In a nurturing and inclusive environment, we will delve into the art of stillness, reflection, and embracing radical acceptance. Savannah will guide us through a journey of breathwork, introspective journaling, and gentle mindful movements, fostering a deeper connection with ourselves and fellow kindred spirits within our community.

About the Facilitator & Creator of the program:

Savannah, a young Kenyan yoga instructor, embarked on her teaching journey in 2017 after obtaining certification in Kerala, India. Inspired by her own struggles with mental health, she found solace in yoga and immersed herself in its transformative power during a profound month in India, honing her practice and deepening her understanding of yoga philosophy. Now, Savannah shares her passion for yoga, blending invigorating breathwork, mindful movement, meditation, and carefully curated music in her classes. With a dedication to wellness, Savannah aspires to evolve into a psychotherapist, driven by a profound commitment to holistic well-being.

About Patchwork:

Knowing yourself is an ongoing journey. Feelings of uncertainty and isolation are common themes we aim to undo. We believe everyone has something of value and we recognize that learning is a reciprocal exchange. As a collective, we create experiences for individuals to connect, feel a sense of belonging, and be in tune with our identity. 😊

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes, please bring your own mat, a journal/ notebook + pen & water bottle.

What do I wear?

Comfy clothing that allows you to engage in gentle movement without feeling restricted. A blanket is also recommend.

What will I learn?

2 different breath techniques which will help you regulate your nervous system, on and off the mat. You will learn to listen to your body while challenging yourself. Learn to slow down and practice presence & our guest facilitators will also have lots to share.

Who should attend this workshop?

Open to all genders, ages 16+ ! This workshop is designed for those who struggle with being present. Those who are looking to connect with others & be in community together.
