Story to Screen
w/ Claire Mulligan
Hate it when your favourite story is made into a mediocre film? Think you can do better? You can. In this hands-on four-hour adaptation workshop we'll look at the various kinds of adaptation (newspaper/magazine article, short stories, novels), the techniques, and challenges of adaptation. And then we'll work together – writing room style - to adapt a story or two (likely Chekov) into a short film.
