Join us for the Strides Mountain Run #1 - Kananaskis 16km event! This mountain run is a great introduction to mountain running and will challenge you with stunning views and varying terrain with approx 300m of elevation gain. This run is geared towards all with some trail running experience and are comfortable running at least 10km. It will take approx 3-4hrs to complete the loop with stops along the way to take in the views and enjoy the outing. Coach Tim and Natasha will be leading this run! Plenty of water refill and snack spots.
Start/Finish: Upper Lake, Kananaskis Lake
Dep Strides: 730am SHARP Dep trail head: 0930 We will be leaving promptly at both locations. There is no cell service in this area.
To bring: running pack, personal food/drink and snacks, suitable clothing for the weather, camera, packable windproof, spare long sleeved top, cap, sunglasses.
