About this event

Voice of English-speaking Québec is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving the English-speaking community in the Greater Québec City region. Among our Newcomers Program's events, we offer every month activities aimed at helping you broaden your social network and build your sense of belonging.

In Québec, a typical Spring activity is going to a cabane à sucre (sugar shack) for brunch or dinner. VEQ is organising a visit to Sucrerie Blouin, located in the emblematic Île d'Orléans, where you will enjoy a traditional all-you-can-eat québecois meal, mainly composed of crêpes/pancakes, eggs, beans, bacon, pork rinds, bread, sausages, etc, accompanied by loads of maple syrup. Before brunch, you can take a tour around the property in a horse carriage and learn how maple syrup is produced or visit the animals on site (it's a small farm).

If you don't have a vehicle, don't worry! Transportation from and to our offices (located at 1270, chemin Sainte-Foy) will be offered for free.
