About this event

***This training is open only to Mental Health & Addiction Staff within Health PEI unless otherwise stated.***

You will receive en email a few days prior to training with your link to the MICROSOFT TEAMS EVENT.

*Some participants may only require the 1st hour of this training (suicide risk screening) but may participate in the entire duration if they wish.

To provide all mental health and addictions clinical staff with a standardized and comprehensive approach, in identifying, communicating, documenting and safety planning for clients and families at risk for suicide. Instruction in suicide risk screening and assessment, suicide risk management and monitoring,suicide risk communication and documentation.

Depending on your work role responsibilities, you may only be required to use the screener, while other roles will require training in both screening and assessment.
