Day Camp is guaranteed to be packed full of fun, games, crafts, skits, campfires, and plenty of time in the 1909 Kitchen. All snacks, drinks, and lunch will be provided each day, but bring along a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated between breaks.
Camp is ideal for youth aged 5 – 13.
What does a day at Culinary Camp look like?
On Monday morning, we’ll divide campers into teams! We’ll compete each day for prizes and rewards to find out which team can make the claim of master mini chef of the 1909 Culinary Academy.
We’ll start each morning with a group huddle as we sing songs, plan out our day, and issue challenges to other teams to complete throughout the day. Then, we’ll break off into teams to take on a day filled with crafts, games, outdoor activites, campfires, and plenty of time in the kitchen with Chef Zehr where you’ll work together to prepare snacks and lunch for the entire crew.
Daily themes? You bet! We’ll have pyjama day, crazy hair day, team spirit day, beach day….and who know what other fun ideas we’ll come up with together.
Weather permitting, we plan to have time to play outdoors each day on our acre of property, but dress for the weather.
The 1909 Culinary Academy is not a nut free facility.
