Many people experience a need for support as they try to incorporate the practice of the Daily Examen into their lives. Every Tuesday evening, between 7:15 and 7:45 pm MST, one of the Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus, a Companion in Mission or another Spiritual Director will accompany you, as you pray the Examen. If you’ve been struggling to make the Examen part of your daily spiritual practice, join us for a few weeks or months and see what a difference the Examen will make to your life! You will be surprised to find yourself readily incorporating the Examen into your daily spiritual practices! Among other things, it will help you to develop an attitude of gratitude!
Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, a member of the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ), is on staff at the FCJ Christian Life Centre where she offers individual spiritual direction and individual or group retreats in person and on-line. Following many years in Catholic Education, both as a teacher and an administrator, and as a Local Leader in her own religious congregation, Ann Marie received her training in spiritual direction with the Jesuits at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario. She was a member of the retreat staff there before coming to Calgary in 2012. Ann Marie loves the ministry of spiritual direction. She delights in reminding people that they are individually loved by God and journeying with people who are searching for a closer relationship with God.
